When is the WCFM open?
Every Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
How do I get to the market?
The market street address is 533 North First Street in downtown Jesup, Ga., 31545 – located in the heart of Wayne County. See the Contact Us page for additional directions.
Is there parking on-site?
Yes, the market includes an on-site parking lot making it easy to get in, park and shop ‘til you drop! Thanks to a Georgia Department of Transportation grant, in the spring of 2015, new deceleration and entry lanes into the market were added which has improved traffic flow in and out of the market for the ease of the community.
Are there restrooms at the market?
Yes, there are public restrooms for market visitors located within the shed space where the vendors sell their products.
Is the market open year-round?
The hope is that the market will remain open year-round for all seasons. This will be dependent upon interest from the residents shopping at the market, and the response from the vendors selling their products.
How can I become a vendor?
See our Vendor Application page and submit your request. The Executive Board will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis and we hope to fill up all the vendor spaces at the market! We have room for up to 30 different vendors.
What is provided for vendors?
We will provide one table per vendor space on a first-come, first-serve basis. Vendors are responsible for chairs and signage for their space.
What can be sold at the market?
Per the City of Jesup’s agreement for opening the market, all products sold must be agricultural in nature. This includes local vegetables, fruit, homemade food products, plants and trees, honey, meats, Christmas trees, pumpkins and other seasonal plants. Items such as homemade crafts, woodwork products, clothing, etc. are not eligible for sale at this market.
Do all items sold at the market have to be from Georgia?
This is a local market and, as such, the desire is to sell products that are as locally-sourced as possible. However, depending on seasons and what is available, the Market Manager may permit a certain percentage of non-local products to be sold; however, those products must be advertised as such.
